On Sunday, October 17, we rebelled against housing policy in Rotterdam. A peaceful protest in which about 8,000 people participated. On October 17, between 8,000 and 10,000 people came to the national Woonrevolt in Rotterdam. There we made a joint fist with a broad coalition. It is high time for a radically different housing policy. But the housing battle continues! At both local and national levels
The demonstration in the Afrikaanderpark happened in a good atmosphere. After a joyful program with speakers and music, we left the park for the Erasmusbrug bridge [in a march towards Markthal]. There the march came to a halt as a group of protesters was separated [and surrounded] from the rest of the demonstration by the riot police.
