The Housing Action Days 2023: European citizens collectively fight for the right to live
From 24 March to April 2, 2023 thousands of people enter more than 40 cities across Europe take to the streets for the right to live and the city to address the skyrocketing cost of living.
In 2021, the Dutch government signed the Lisbon Declaration, in which 27 European member states have agreed to end homelessness by 2030. Yet homelessness continues to increase, and more and more people are living there temporary, insecure and at duration. The government of the Netherlands and the other European member states too little to solve this growing humanitarian crisis.

That is why there are also due to the housing movement in the Netherlands various actions planned in eg Amsterdam, The Hague, Arnhem, Haarlem and Den Bosch. An overview of all actions you find www.woonopstand.nl. We hope to see you all at these local actions for a radically different housing policy!

The 'European Action Coalition for the Right to Housing and to the City' is a coalition of movements from different European cities and countries. For the original call for Housing Action Week and a map with all actions across Europe see housingnotprofit.org
